Active Experience is run by me, Keith Edge.  As I work on most of the courses myself you will probably meet me on your day out.  I have been walking and climbing in the British hills since 1981 and I hold the MLTB Summer and Winter Mountain Leader Awards and the Single Pitch Award.  I am also a Rescue Emergency Care First Aid trainer and a provider of the Bronze and Silver National Navigation Awards and the Young Navigator Star Awards. 

I also hold a First Responder certificate from the Wilderness Emergency Medical Services Institute.

I have worked in the outdoors full time and part time since 1989 and have run BELA courses as well as teaching on summer ML courses.  I am a full member of the Mountain Leader Training Association. You can find out more about the MLTA by following this link :  Mountain Leader Training Association

All the guides and instructors associated with Active Experience hold appropiate mountain qualifications, first aid and insurance.
